You were complaining about the newly acquired bruises you’ve spotted on your inner thigh and your knee. You felt like they made you ugly, because for a girl, smooth, spotless, “healthy” looking skin is what makes you look good. You stood there self consciously in your dress as I looked humbly in your eyes and told you that they look like you have pretty little purple galaxies on your body. I thought it was cute. With constellations for the beauty marks on your arms, galaxies for the bruises on your legs, and black holes for the eyes you strike me down with, I am falling for you at the speed of light.
